Facility-level record of 1,110 carbon capture, utilization, and storage projects worldwide, commissioned or announced since the 1970s, compiled by the International Energy Agency. Each project includes name, country, region, sector, subsector, project type (capture, transport, storage, utilization, or full chain), status, phase, announced and IEA-estimated capacity in Mt CO2/yr, key milestone dates (announcement, final investment decision, operation, and suspension/cancellation where applicable), CCUS hub membership, fate of the captured carbon, and up to seven reference links per project. Covers projects with announced capacity above 100,000 t/year, or 1,000 t/year for direct air capture facilities.
